I was born and raised in Georgia, and I even married Kim, my high school sweetheart, in Georgia in 1996. As newlyweds, God called us to church planting in Brazil, and He began a work in our lives that would forever intertwine our hearts with Brazilians and international missions in a way that is impossible to explain with words. Since moving to Brazil in May 2000, the Lord enabled our team, with the help of many others, to start three churches and an evangelistic pre-school ministry that now ministers to approximately 170  students each weekday. We transitioned our last church plant in Brazil completely over to national leadership in April 2018.

In response to a growing awareness of the need for more healthy and active multicultural churches in Metro Atlanta, the Lord led us to move to the northwest region of Metro Atlanta in June 2019 to begin laying the groundwork for One Hope Church. This vibrant and diverse region is home to Georgia’s third largest university, Kennesaw State University, and holds phenomenal potential for One Hope Church to grow and advance the cause of Christ in this diverse metropolis and around the world! Over thirty churches and individuals share this same vision for One Hope Church and have partnered with us to plant this church.
